STSA TRAVEL

The travel program (SAGINAW STORM) at the Saginaw Township Soccer Association begins at the U11 level and can continue through U18. Tryouts are held each June for the fall and spring seasons with a year commitment by the player to his/her team. Girls who play high school soccer will tryout in June to play travel soccer in the fall while boys who play high school soccer in the fall have tryouts in November for the spring season.

The travel program is for players who want to play the most competitive soccer in the area and in the State of Michigan. Practices with your team are usually 2-3 times per week with playing games Saturdays and Sundays.

There are two leagues that STSA teams play in, being the Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League (U11-U18) and the Michigan State Premier League (U13-U18). In the Mid-Michigan league you can expect to travel anywhere from 40-60 miles for your away games with the Premier league traveling from 60-130 miles away.
