Meijers Soccerfest Recreation Tournament
June 4th & 5th, 2011
MEIJER Stores in Saginaw are the sponsor of these tournaments: there are THREE:
- One for RECREATION TEAMS ONLY.
- One for BOYS U15, U16, U17 & U19 TRAVEL TEAMS ONLY
- One for Boys and Girls (separate) U10 Travel Development ONLY
All Saginaw Recreation teams will be playing in this tournament: approximately 80 teams to begin with. All Saginaw teams are always NEWLY formed teams for the season - the mix of players is different on every team for every season in Saginaw and there are no tryouts. This is NOT true however in the U10 Travel Development League portion of the RECREATION Tournament: we WILL accept Boys and Girls U10 Travel Teams in this division ONLY.
Teams must have been formed for the 2011 Spring Recreation Season. Both Boys and Girls teams will be playing in each age bracket, IF there are at least 3 teams in each. Each team is GUARANTEED 3 games in the round robin format. TEAM trophies will be awarded each 1st and 2nd place team in each age bracket. (no individual trophies are allowed for this type of tournament by USYSA rules)
