Travel Program Information


As you likely know from recent communications, the spring travel soccer season has unfortunately been canceled. Our priority continues to be the safety and well-being of our players, coaches, and families. We will continue to monitor the situation as it progresses and update you with any necessary information pertaining to future events.
With the inability to complete the spring season, partial refunds need to be addressed. Please remember that fees for fall soccer and winter training will not be refunded. Below you will find several options.
1) Request a credit to be automatically applied to the Fall 2020 Travel Season.

2) Request reimbursement for the canceled Spring 2020 Travel Season.

3) Please accept my refund as a donation to STSA. (This will help continue to provide programming to our community in future seasons.)

Our Travel program specifically focuses on individual player development. Our Travel program begins at the under 9 (U9) age group and players can expect to receive high quality technical training that will be the foundation for their individual player development. Players are evaluated by the Coach to ensure that specific individual player growth is occurring both during the training session as well as during a game. Players will be expected to attend all the team training sessions as well as the speed and agility sessions. In addition, other voluntary training sessions will be made available throughout the year that players may attend if they choose. 


Our Coaching team is comprised of highly licensed and experienced coaches. All Coaches must have a minimum of a United States Soccer Federation 'F' License to be hired. The Director of Coaching and the Technical Directors responsible for all coaching education and licensing within the club teams. Coaches are encouraged to continue their education by attaining higher-level licenses through the United States Soccer Federation or the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. In addition, the Coaches are expected to attend 90% of the additional Coaching clinics that are held at the soccer complex throughout the year. Player development begins with exceptional experienced Coaching.  


The registration fees for the Michigan Wolves Hawks North teams are as follows:
  • U9 & U10   - $600.00
  • U11 & U12 - $800.00
  • U13 -U19   - $1,000.00
The registration fee includes both seasons (Fall & Spring) registration fees, our club tournament in August, the required winter indoor training, Speed & Agility sessions, Referee fees (excluding State Cup), practicing & playing games at the soccer complex, as well as compensated licensed experienced Coaches. The fees must be paid on-line and can be done in one lump sum or there are payment options available that will occur automatically for the parent's convenience. The registration fee does not include any additional tournaments, uniform kits, team warm-ups, or any other equipment that a player may need. Additionally, you will never pay for the Coaches travel or meal expenses.


The registration fees for boys teams U15 to U19 are $550.00 per season which include the Spring league registration fee, required indoor training, speed & agility training, referee fees (except State Cup), practicing and playing at the soccer complex, and compensated and licensed Coaches. Payment plans are available as well.


The registration fees for girls teams U15 to U19 are $400.00 per season which include the Fall league registration fee, Saginaw Soccer Classic Tournament, speed & agility training, referee fees (except State Cup), practicing and playing at the soccer complex, and compensated and licensed Coaches. Payment plans are available as well.


The Michigan Wolves Hawks North uniform kit cost for (U9 & U10) is $120.00 and includes Adidas home and away jerseys, shorts and socks. The Michigan Wolves Hawks North uniform kits for (U11-U18) are $350.00 and include Adidas home and away jerseys, 3 shorts, 3 socks and warm-ups. These uniforms kits are the ONLY uniforms that can be worn by our teams.


Each  Michigan Wolves Hawks North team(s) are required to participate in the Saginaw Soccer Classic soccer tournament each year. There will be more information distributed about the Soccer Classic at Tryouts in June. Other tournaments are selected by the Coach and approved by the STSA Director of Coaching.


All  Michigan Wolves Hawks North teams are required to participate in the winter training (except girls teams age 15 and above). Currently, Saginaw Township will be using two different facilities for indoor training beginning in 2016. Saginaw Township Soccer buys blocks of time to help keep the cost to a minimum and ultimately pass the savings on to the players. Further information will be distributed at Tryouts.


The Michigan Wolves Hawks North teams currently participate in three leagues, Western Suburban Soccer League (WSSL), Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League (MMYSL), and the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP).  Depending on your child's team, the travel can vary greatly.  The normal travel distance to a game can be anywhere from an hour to two and a half hours.
